Sod/Seeding Crew Assistant Foreman
Here is what we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the landscape/construction industry.
- Able to assist in leading the crew, in a positive manner, to reach the goals for the day.
- Knowledge of specific materials. Methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various sod/seed installation projects.
- Class A license preferred but not required.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Able to take direction and work independently as needed.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and crew members.
Able to work outside in all types of weather conditions. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator (MN. Applicators license A, E and J endorsements) 30 days to acquire. - Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections,
lubricating, and cleaning daily. - Capable of operating skid steer loaders, Tractors with 3-point implements, and trailers in a safe responsible manner.
Sports Turf Foreman
Here is what we are looking for:
- 2 years of experience in sports field management including, but not limited to infield grading and renovation, awareness of field traffic patterns, aerification, topdressing, and proper grass edge maintenance.
- Lead the crew, in a positive manner, to reach the goals for the day.
- Clean driving record with a CDL license, Class A preferred, or a plan to acquire within 30 days.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Able to take direction and work independently as needed.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and crew members.
- Able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Sports Turf Tech
MSC is looking for “turf career” minded individuals to join our team. Join the fun as we work on some of the premier natural and synthetic sports fields in the Twin Cities and Midwest. This is a full-time seasonal position including union benefits. The candidate should expect to work 40 – 50 hours per week during the growing season. Qualified candidates can expect wages of between $21.51 and $26.89/hr., depending on qualifications. There is a company bonus program in addition to the competitive wages.
