Sod/Seeding Crew Assistant Foreman

Here is what we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the landscape/construction industry.
  • Able to assist in leading the crew, in a positive manner, to reach the goals for the day.
  • Knowledge of specific materials. Methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various sod/seed installation projects.
  • Class A license preferred but not required.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.
  • Able to take direction and work independently as needed.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and crew members.
  • Able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    Current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator (MN. Applicators license A, E and J endorsements) 30 days to acquire.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections,
    lubricating, and cleaning daily.
  • Capable of operating skid steer loaders, Tractors with 3-point implements, and trailers in a safe responsible manner.

Sports Field Assistant Foreman

Excellent opportunity to become a leader in the sports field industry!  
MSC is looking for another sports field career-minded team member. Join the fun as we 
work on some of the premier natural and synthetic sports fields, major league through 
K-12 level, in the Twin Cities and the Midwest. This is a full-time seasonal position 
where, depending on qualifications, candidates can expect wages of between $26.88 
and $28.29hr., plus union benefits of an additional $17.68. There is also a company 
bonus program in addition to the competitive wages. 

Here is what we are looking for:

  • Experience operating field grading equipment.
  • Strong tractor and skid steer operating ability.
  • Knowledge and experience in sports field management including, but not
    limited to infield grading and renovation, awareness of field traffic patterns,
    aerification and topdressing, proper grass edge maintenance.
  • Desire and pride to have a positive impact on athletic fields around the state.
  • Possession of a state of Minnesota pesticide applicators license or the ability to
    obtain one in 30 days.
  • Experience with various 3-point attachments.
  • Able to take direction and work independently as needed.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and crew members.
  • CDL license, Class A required, or a plan to acquire by your start date.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. And work outside in all types of weather conditions.

Sports Field Tech

Excellent opportunity to become a leader in the sports field industry!  
MSC is looking for hard-working individuals to join our team. Join the fun as we work on
some of the premier natural and synthetic sports fields in the Twin City area and
throughout the Midwest. This is a full-time seasonal position where, depending on
qualifications, candidates can expect wages of between $22.63 and $24.61hr., plus
union benefits of an additional $17.68. There is a company bonus program in addition to
the competitive wages.

Here is what you can expect:

  • Work responsibilities will include sports field renovation, fertilizer and pesticide
    application, field layout and synthetic turf maintenance.
  • A 40–50-hour work week, during the growing season, with some occasional
    weekend work when necessary.
  • Work outside in all types of weather conditions.
  • A future opportunity to pursue your CDL Class A license. MSC will help with the cost!

Here is what we expect:

  • Positive attitude with a great work ethic.
  • You are able to lift 50 lbs.
  • You are able to take direction for work and work independently as needed.
  • You are able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and crew
    members.
  • A willingness to acquire a pesticide applicator’s license (MN. Applicators license
    A, E and J endorsements) you will have 30 days to acquire.
  • Any experience in operation of tractors, loaders, and various 3-point implements
    is a plus!
  • Clean driving record and a current DOT health card.

Sports Turf Tech

Excellent opportunity to join a leader in the turf industry!

MSC is looking for “turf career” minded individuals to join our team. Join the fun as we work on some of the premier natural and synthetic sports fields in the Twin Cities and Midwest. This is a full-time seasonal position including union benefits. The candidate should expect to work 40 – 50 hours per week during the growing season. Qualified candidates can expect wages of between $21.51 and $26.89/hr., depending on qualifications. There is a company bonus program in addition to the competitive wages.
