Commercial and Athletic Field Sod Foreman

Experience and Knowledge:

  • 3+ years’ experience in the industry.
  • Athletic Field installation experience preferred.
  • Installation knowledge of sod and seeding products.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to communicate with your crew and clients effectively and professionally!
  • Able to foresee and resolve potential problems.
  • Ability to work together with the production and project management team.
  • Ability to track jobs and time through online programs.
  • Responsible for and willingness to enforce company’s policy and procedures.


  • CDL Certificate, ability to obtain health card and a clean driving record. (Class A Preferred)
  • Proficient heavy equipment operating skills a must.
  • Good time management skills; be available for seasonal long hours and weekends.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
  • Frequently lift, carry and move 75lbs.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to travel out of town 10%
  • Other duties as required.

Union Laborers

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive to locations throughout the metro area.
  • Must be dependable.
  • Basic understanding of the use of hand tools, including shovels, picks, tape measures and wheelbarrows.
  • Willingness and ability to follow directions.
  • Eager to learn and acquire new skills.
  • Ability to operate power equipment and various hand tools.
  • Responsible for follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work safely and responsibly.
  • Ability to lift/carry/move 75 pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to travel 10%
